As a certified Restore Your Core® teacher, I offer one-to-one holistic core and pelvic floor classes. In these sessions, we look at the whole body including breathing, gait pattern, posture and habitual movement patterns to address core and pelvic floor function. Classes are trauma-informed, responsive to the client’s nervous system and paced so as to integrate changes sustainably. With one-to-one classes, you can expect to get an in depth understanding of the movement patterns affecting your core and pelvic floor and personalised support to help you move towards feeling better. Classes are ideal for anyone experiencing ongoing core and pelvic floor issues and they are not limited to women or post-partum clients, in fact, many people can benefit from them!

As well as one-to-one classes, I teach six week Restore Your Core® method classes online and in person

The Restore Your Core® method is a comprehensive exercise program created for women

who have core and pelvic floor dysfunction. Issues like:

- leaking urine when running, sneezing, jumping, coughing

- constant back pain

- a weak core or a gap in the core wall (diastasis recti)

- a bulging sensation in the pelvic floor

- hip discomfort

- painful intercourse

- pelvic organ prolapse

Over 1⁄2 of all women will experience 1 or more of these issues in their lifetime.

That is huge! Often these issues are brushed off as “normal” after having a

baby, however they are anything but normal and can dramatically affect

quality of life. In fact many women who have never been pregnant have these

issues.

Combining sustainable and functional yoga and Pilates-based

exercises with the fundamentals of biomechanics, the Restore Your Core® method takes a unique approach to core wellness, aiming to

empower and educate women for the long term by teaching them how to

move efficiently and exercise optimally.

With its unique tools, terminology and cues, this exercise program teaches

the principles of core engagement and strengthening in a way that is

accessible, unambiguous and clear. It takes a function-over-fit approach and

encourages women to return to the activities they love once they feel ready

and confident. It offers long term solutions over quick-fix ones.
